Hey everyone, I've been working on my website. I revamped it a little and put up a messageboard, nothing compared to dpc. But its my little place on the web. If you are interested check it out tell me what you think. Make me feel good and sign the messageboard. Still a work in progress. Basically I am using the messageboard as a way to attract people to view my photography. So if you have time sign up and tell your friends.

my website

Thanks everyone,
Travis

found a typo...

The Perfect Pose Photography is located in Maryland. We have been capturing emotion in photographs for years. Please allow us to portray you memories should be your memories

Pretty cool. A few minor adjustments I think:
1. I'd take the pricing off the main page. Show more of the photos you've taken (in the left column maybe?) before mentioning how much it costs (which you already have a page for).
2. Move the 'Why not Wal-mart or Sears?' topic and put it where the prices are now.
3. The background color is OK, I wonder what it would look like with a lighter grey.
4. When you go to the photo pages, there's no links for the other pages. I need to click the 'back' button. I think you should make it as easy to navigate the site as possible.
Those are my thought and wish you luck with it.
Is it my laptop or do the photos load slowly?

P.S. Missed the grammer error. Shows how I did in English in school eh?

Thanks for the typo, I looked it over many times and never caught that one.

What is the purpose of the messageboards?

The icon on your site doesnt really fit, and the forum page itself loads very slowly and requires a user to login.

If you are going to force a user to create an account for the forums, at least tell them what they are getting and make it worth while.

Nice looking site, I like it. Really like the shot you chose for the main page, too.

Only suggest I have design-wise is possibly do mouse-over effects on the links at the top. Not anything major, maybe just a color change to white or something. Very easy to do with CSS.

It looks like the top is all one image, at 60kb.. you might consider using a 1px wide gradient for that part, a JPG for the photo, and just text for the links. Then mouseovers would be a lot easier, and it would load faster anyways.
