Am sure you will have fun with it! I have the 50mm MK1 F/1.8 and thats a stirling lens.

I have the same lens, it's better than they say ;)
I got it on my EOS 1V now and it will stay on it for the next few months :)

I've had a 50mm f-1.4 lens for several years, they're very nice to use. I'm sure you'll have fun with it.
