So, I'm a grunge virgin.. but this is my first attempt. The pic I experimented was already small in size, so I used the "small image" draganizer. Then did some adjusting til I thought it looked alright.

looks like you just increased the contast a bit.

to be grungier, i think the dark/light spots have to be more random, and not so uniform.

I'm virtually a grunge virgin (I've only ever gone as far as first base) but here's a whack at it:

I could still not able to create this effect :(
can someone help please? hints?
I've read thru the online tutorials and downloaded the draganizer... but maybe it's just me? aargh!

draganizer includes severe oversharpening which kills a photograph
(but fetches ribbons too)
