I remember during some discussion or other a bunch of people talking about their Bettas.
A friend's Betta (aptly named "Swimmy") seems to have some wonky eye thing going on overnight; one bulging eye, with a white film over it. I looked up a few eye diseases on the net, but nothing really fit the description.
Anyone have a clue what's going on? I'd have photographed it if I'd have had my camera.
Sorry, this isn't photo topical, but I know there will be someone who can help.
Thanks, Guys.

This isn't particular to Bettas but sometimes fish get a white, filmy disease called ick. Try looking that up online and seeing if that fits the description maybe? |

no ick is like little grains of salt all over the fish. The white cloudy eye is probably a fungus. Just go to your local pet store and tell them whats going on. They will point out just what you need. Its not hard to clear up. |
