MQuinn suggested I boost the red 50% and convert to B&W. I did and this is the result. What do you think?

Since I'm at it, here are some other shots from Arches.

To be honest with you, I'm not sure how. I am a total beginner with Photoshop.

I opened it in photoshop, and just desaturated the Cyans by half in the hue/sat tool. Clouds look pretty white after that.

Can I get some folks to take a look at these other and give some feedback?

Of the four I like the top right one the best (with the people). It's well composed and the people add context and dimension to the rock formations.

The top left one is ok compositionally but looks oversharpened.

Bottom left seems overexposed and you've lost detail in the sky (appears to have been some blue out there...top right). Probably metered on the arch in this...try setting your exposure compensation to -.7 or -1.0 for this to keep the sky from blowing out.

Bottom right is ok compositionally but the sky is a little blah.

All of this of course, is JMO. Still friends? ;^)
