I was wondering.. I uploaded an image and it got the number 280094, and since the number increases by 1 for every uploaded image there should be 280094 images in the gallery.
some stats.. there are 189695 photos in the gallery, but most, probably all photos are in 2 different galleries, like "studio" and in "back/white" or "family"
so in fact there could be only 94847 images in the gallery sectionif they all have a duplicate in another gallery.
it makes me wonder where the missing 185247 images are ???
just had nothing to do and was browsing the galleries.....

| You can select two galleries to place same image ! |

that would mean that 67% of all uploaded images have been deleted...
and when people select 2 galleries for each picture then the number of gallery entries rises by 2 for each entry, so my calculation would be accurate, there are 185000 missing pictures...

it would be a lot of them but maybe hidden by the member?

Some may not be added to any galleries.

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if fully half the images ever uploaded to the site are no longer there. I've personally removed at least 50-75 images from my portfolio in the last year. A LOT of uploaded images are variations we make on other peoples' work, and I purge those regularly, for example. Plus only paying members have portfolios, so when a member does not renew eventually those images will be purged as well, I assume.
