Hi - Learning to work with RAW files. Question. Is it legal to combine two copies of the same image for a challenge entry?
Example. Work with a RAW file to adjust the sky and save as copy in TIFF format. Work with the same RAW file to adjust the foreground and save as copy in TIFF format.
Bring the two copies together using PSP or PS 'paste as new layer', edit, save as JPG.
Thanks.

It's been my impression that this is legal under advanced rules and that a lot of the landscapes are done in just that way. I'm looking forward to that ability myself in Member's Challenges. So I hope I'm not wrong.

It's legal in Advanced, but not in Basic since you can't make a second data layer. |
