Just wanted to explain my shot that got disqualified because I am out of town and couldn't submit the original. A lot of people thought the other girl's face is a reflection, but it isn't. The two girls had just hugged prior to the flash firing, which created the effect.

Bummer, Bryan. :( Next time, upload your proof before you go for those "just in case"s!

But there IS a reflection. Regardless, that in itself isn't a DQ.

I thought this was a shot of someone sitting in a car (like curbside) and the glass was reflecting back what was surrounding it. Seemed very City Life to me, and creative...I gave it a 7.

I'd be curious to know what about this someone thought was breaking the rules. ???

Sorry about that, Bryan. I looked closely at that when I voted, and it didn't look like it broke any rules. It was cool. I gave it a 6.

Curious, why do we have the 48 hour limit?

It's always a bummer when a legit photo gets DQ'd for lack of proof. My thought would to be let them continue to be voted on until disproven. And then if no proof is submitted they would be DQ'd.

I'd like to know as well, and I think everyone should be told when they have to submit proof why they are being asked for proof.
