I supplied the 8MP file to the graphic artists that then created the layout and did the upsampling to the billboard dimensions. The files are at work now. I'll try to see about getting a small crop of the upsampled file.
My understanding was that the image needed to be 1/4" at 300 dpi for every foot of billboard, in order to look good at typical viewing distances. My art director want me to supply 1/2" at 300 dpi for every foot, so I shot quite tight on the bottles, in order to minimize any cropping.
The original file was quite sharp. Shot using my 50mm f/1.8. I tend to do most of my product photography with that lens.

You'll probably have to measure, but one thing is for sure, that's a big print, 6-7 ft or so. I somehow doubt that a 6MP can really produce an image that is capable of being blown up that big, while being viewed from only a few feet away (I assume). The difference between this an a billboard, is that the billboard only usually gets viewed from 50-100 feet or more. Because of that, the resolution does not have to be huge.
Good luck!

Some of you wanted to see a 100% crop, so here it is:
100% crop of bottle image used to make the billboard (11x20 inches @300dpi)
The image itself (no text) covered about half the billboard.
