My sister had to talk to my dad and I know it was very uncomfortable for her. Try putting yourself in (my dad's) or your father's shoes.

hey dad cane I have some money???

for what???

I need a check up.

for what???

cuz I have a wonder bread factory going on???

as simply put its not a hard thing for you to talk to him about but even me being a guy say go get checked. Hell how much could it cost???

Thanks notonline, I would like to get this thread back on track to pa's original question. The importance of getting to a gyn. and how to go about doing it. I am very concerned that you find reasons/excuses not to. As someone said within this thread, its the build-up/anticipation of an appointment especially the first that is worse than the whole thing. Just something we gotta do then it is done.

So, lets help point out the importance of it as well as how to go about it.
