Do you usualy enter every challenge (or try to keep up just to get more practice) or skip a few weeks until the theme is just right?

Ex-lax usually moves me fairly well ...

I've been trying to submit to every challenge lately. And, I try not to shoot in the fields I work in, ie portraits or photojournalism. Just want to use DPC to expand my horizons.

Guess, I'm trying to use DPC to help me transition to photography as art.

But do you usually get the same scores or do you post even if you think you could get a better result?

post anyway / it is only partially the scores (which reflects the population of voters) but also the exposure to try ideas & get feedback

I enter a challenge almost every week. Sometimes it stretches me (Live Music, Singled-Out...if I do it), sometimes it fits right in.

I just like an excuse to shoot.

I enter every week, I try to put food in alot of pics as I have this crazy dream of becoming a food photographer.
I have a hard time shooting people, I am only shy apparently when I am taking a picture...

If I had more free time I'd probably shoot at least one challenge a week. Unfortunately I'm buried at work which only alows me to choose something that is just right.

My scores are all over the board, but that's to be expected considering the experimental phase I'm in.

I've been entering one a week as a personal challenge, and my average 5 scores reflect that, I think. One of these days, I'll happen upon the perfect Challenge for my rural area and low budget...I hope! :)
