I can buy one of these, and am looking forward to doing macrophotography (an unknown territory for me). Is it OK? Thanks! |

I recall reading somewhere (sorry, can't find the page, may have been deleted) that Cosina made one line of really good lenses for Voigtlander, but that the lenses they made for Canon/Nikon/Minolta/Pentax cameras were bottom-of-the-barrel, very poor quality.
I'd love to get myself a decent 100mm macro lens, and maybe one day I will. But in the meantime, if you want to do decent macros without spending huge money, try using extension tubes with a decent quality lens you already own, particularly if you have a 50mm or longer prime lens in your collection. |

Also check into getting the reverse mount filter thread for your 50mm 1.8. I've heard great things about it for macro shooting. you could just stick it on one of your other lenses and make it macro. |
