I just sold my EOS 500N film camera, so I needed a new one..
I bought the EOS 1V with booster from Adorama, used.. hope the used equipment from Adorama comes in perfect condition.. they only grade the bodies by look, they do not state how many shots it has, or any mechanical specs...
but I got it foe $1038 with international shipping... hope I made a good deal...

You should really look over at Fredmiranda.com's buy /sell and RobGailbrath.com before you buy used anywhere else. There is always someone letting one of these go cheap. I think you got a pretty good deal though. But why 35mm film? You should at least shoot medium format (6x7 or 6x6) if your gonna shoot film.

I'm in photography school and the requirements are a 35mm film and digital cameras, since I have the 5D and a bag full of L lenses I felt like my old 500N wasn't enough.. even though it's a great camera it's just to small and the focus system only has 3 focuspoints...
when I graduate I will probably invest in the Hasselblad H1 :)

The B/S over at FM Forums is often a little lax on the grading system. I'd feel better about getting one with a written return policy from B&H or Adorama.
