err it was? before Macromedia took over its products Aldus had the licence to sell their software.. Aldus had products out on PC before Photoshop 2.5 hit Windows

And Pagemaker was originally a Aldus product before Adobe bought that. Is Adobe becoming the Microsoft of press/pre-press/media management?

Way ! this market is for professionals and therefore it is for mac,

It will be on Windows mid year. As Lightroom is a direct response to Apple's produce it makes sense that it is on mac first.
