I pulled this - a rare stroke of restraint. It Wasn't that good a shot, but thought it would've been funny nonetheless.

I debated between the strong connection and the strong image. In my mind, both were Mothers - just didn't let the viewers know that about my entry. Here's the outtake:

it's a Golden Lion Tamarin found at the Hogle Zoo, in Salt Lake City.

I like these two but I much like your entry.

This would have been my submission if I didn't miss the deadline. :(

Your entered shot is by far the stronger of the three!

Thanks you all, it makes me feel better to know that I made the right decision. You should have seen how stressed out I was the last 15 minutes before rollover trying to decide which to do!

Here are a few of mine. Was going to do Mother Nature once I finally found a model. What a shoot too. Took over 100 shots, but didn't get as good a critique on these as my Fairy Godmother.

Believe it or not, all that you see here including staff and dress and all cost under $20. Not a big cost for a nice vintage wedding gown and all the accessories to make "the look".

Wanted a young girl to look like she was floating. I think too many people have the older mother nature in their heads though from the Parkay commercials and it wouldn't have flown *pun intended* LOL.

These still need work, or were in process of work. At least one was outside of advanced editing rules, and had some other problems as well. Lets just say I was having fun here, but knew they couldn't hold a candle to my other entry.

One of these I did use in another challenge on another site and it came in first place. So I am not going to complain about a thing! LOL...
