		| | Someone at work told me about this and I guess it was just a matter of time. I don't know if I was more disgusted at the thought or their appearance.

Could easily make a horror/sci-fi movie out of these things.

		| | ROFL, I bet they get loads of hits. Great site.
"But donât worry, the days when youâll be able to go into any big box store and find a small animal twist-tied into a piece of plastic are coming soon, so hold tight. We know from the mass amounts of emails weâve received how excited you all are, and so are we.

		| | Genpets explained by their maker
"This piece is meant to be creepy. Itâs me playing devils advocate to get a point across. The piece is meant to illicit a reaction, though many times it gets a very scary positive acceptance from teens + resellers."

		| | Ahhh after reading more carefully, I'm relieved that it's only a thesis and creation, not real! |

		| | I saw this in the forums earlier today....a friend did a Google search and found out that it is/was an Art Exhibit of a "new expression sculpture" type - still after reading the description it sounds like this might possibly move into the realms of becoming the new Furby....bleh.
Below is the description from //www.torontoartscape.on.ca/qwacce/ (scolled down about halfway)

		| | I hadn't read the entire site and am very pleased to know it was an art exhibit and not a true thing...although I wouldn't doubt it happening sometime.

		| | Oh my..... I guess so far, it has been just an "art exhibit". Without a doubt, though, a few entrepreneurs will have spotted this by now and are probably already working on making it a reality.

		| | I think it's pretty funny. I figured it was a scam from the get-go, especially since you cannot combine the DNA of the animals they listed. Anyway, it's poking fun at our incessant desire for something easy and quick. Kind of a sad commentary on us humans, huh? |
