What happens if my membership expires at a time when my entry is in the voting phase of a member-only challenge - does it get automatically DQ'd.
PS: I already know I should renew sooner rather than later.. but still curious about the above.

Not sure, but the challenge validity is for shooting dates so I would image it would only be effected if your membership expired after submitting, but before voting. As long as you do everything right in the submitting time frame, I would think you would be ok.

Most likely the entry is still good, but things like your portfolio, dpcprints, member thread will be locked.
I have 16 days until I can find out for you :P

Your member status is checked at submission time. If you are a member at the time you upload your entry, you are eligible for the challenge.
If you upload an entry, your membership expires, and you wish to change it, you won't be able to though.
