I wonder how you reach 6.0 and above for a challenge?
How long did you wait?
Is there any possibilities to cheat? (I am not a cheater, but if people cheat with scores, will it be obvious?)

| 15 challenges before I got a 6.0+, I've entered 123 challenges to date and if my current entry for the City Life challenge holds out I will have 23 challenges with above 6.0 (its currently at my all time high of 6.913!, wish me luck.) |

5 out of my first 11 entries scored over 6 (and three more of those were over 5.9). You can cheat, but you'll be caught eventually and suspended or banned. As a learning site with "virtual" prizes, you'd be cheating yourself anyway. |

how on earth would it be possible to cheat your way to a 6?
serious question - i dont see any fesible way of doing it.
Except using ansel adams pic right bear ;) but short of cheating on copyright i can't think of a way... |

I could possibly see someone using some very sly editing and cheating a 6 and making lets say in the top 20, and it would never need validated.
Now how could you cheat a ribbon winner, near impossible I would think..

| but chetaing on editting wouldn't guarentee a 6. Maybe give you a better chance... and of course, you would just be cheating yourself and still run the risk of getting a validation request anyway. |

How long did you wait?
I got 6.7 on my 2nd challenge and after many more it's still my personal best. Beginners luck. :)

All said... the best way to get a 6.0 is to take really clean, crisp, well focused, technically correct images with good composition and relation to challenge.
