I just read news from Israel and Ariel Sharon had another intracerebral hemmorhage and this time much bigger. He is undergoing surgery.
Just thought I's let people know. This can mean big things for the region where more turmoil is the last thing they need.

I think this will be the end of his political career at least. As with anyone suffering, I wish him and his family the best at a terrible time.

I agree this will add more to the turmoil of the Middle East. A change of leadership always causes upheaval although sometimes it makes the country involved become more introspective for a while and stops them interfering with matters outside. We shall see very shortly, I think!

I agree, I don't think there is any doubt that his political career is over (if the case is as described in the news and it is a "major cerebral bleeding"), I just hope for himself, his family and all that care about him that he survives this in a humane way, i.e that he doesn't end up being respirator dependant for the rest of his life.

"Emergency brain surgery" is not something I ever want to hear...
