Hello,

I would like to share one "quick and dirty" sharpening method I usually use:

1.
Menu->Image->Mode->CMYK color

Select K (black) channel (sometimes others are better except cyan, but depends on what you sharpening)
Menu->Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask
Start from those setting:
Amount=500
Radius=3
Threshold=8
Adjust in this order: Threshold-Radius-Amount
For my recent image of outumn tree (3000x2000 pix of a lot of small different colored leaves) i have finished with A=200, R=1.5, T=12)
Step 2
Menu->Image->Mode->Lab Color
If you are hapy with what you have then go to step 3
if not:
Select Lab channel.
Do the same as in step 1
Menu->Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask...etc
adjust T-R-A again (similar or a bit less values usually -OK)

Step 3
depending on what color space you need, select either:
Menu->Image->Mode->RGB color
or again
Menu->Image->Mode->CMYK color

Save as a copy or smth.

This method after several experiments (to gather right sharpening variables) can be saved as an action (or several of them) and applied in a batch mode with more than satisfactory results for photos without big defects (under/over exposed->wrong contrast, wrong white balance/stupid colors, High ISO/noise and artifacts).

Would like to hear about other methods...
Your comments are welcome.
