I know this sounds ridiculous, but I can't find the ISO rating on my photo that I took with my PowerShot camera. Anybody have an idea on how to find it? |

That's my one & only camera.
You have to be sure you're setting your ISO manually. Even then, I'm not sure if Windows shows it, but I can see it with the Canon Zoom Browser software that came with the camera.
I've had a number of photos validated that I filled in the ISO info with "Auto" and none of those nasty SC's have given me a hard time about it. I suppose they might be able to see it with their fancy, secret-validation-software.
It is a pain, as I'd like to know what the heck the camera is choosing for ISO when I have it set to auto sometimes.

For some odd reason Canon hides the ISO on their point and shoots and it does not show up on most exif readers. I might be wrong, but I think Neatimage actually can pull it up. |

Yeah, it looks like we can. At least for your Howling Birch shot (50). I don't know offhand what other entries you've submitted proof for.

Do you have Photoshop? It might be listed in the file properties (under the file menu). Irfanview might also work.

Oh coolio, 50, who woulda thunk it'd choose that? It wasn't very bright in the woods except for the part of the sky in the shot. I had it set on Aperture priority. The Canon software lists it as "Auto". Photoshop exif doesn't show anything for the ISO. I'm too lazy to have a go at irfanview.
