I think I've run into the limit of the S45. Limited focus ability. Anyone else? I've had a few shots, where I'm not using the zoom, I'm not particularly close to the subject, and my focus range is very limited, leaving me with diappointing results. Its not like I can put the aperture way up to 22 or anything. Are there no other tricks up the sleeve of this little thing?

I've got the s40.. pretty much the same gripe as you really..focus is not good close-up or with limited light..
