Well I finaly managed to ditch my Minolta Dimage7. I decided to go against the masses and go with the Cannon 350D. The Nikons seemed to be more popular but the Cannon just looked better on the shelf. I hope to be uploading some new photos soon. Now all I have to do is move to Iceland and the elusive ribbon will be mine! |

C'mon....nothing wrong with Nikon...basically just a choice of which lenses you want to use.

And whether the controls feel right or not. Nikon controls are the reverse of Canon's in some cases. i.e. focus and zoom rings on lenses |

With all of the D70's on this site I figured Nikon would be the most popular. I have already fallen in love with the cameras night shots. I did a few shots of a lake at night and there was no noise and crystal clear ripples in the water.... I never realized how much I was missing out on with my old digital. |

Check out the list of camera owners for stats on this site. Absolutely nothing wrong with Nikon at all, but Canon does seem to be more prevalent on DPC.
