Well, cameras, lens, flash and bag are gone.

Time to sit back and think about my future.

Now why did you go do a thing like that? I really hope you're not starting the year with financial problems. That would suck, big time. Good luck with your plans for the future.

Ditto what Beagle said.. And I hope they didn't get stolen, that would suck...

Cheers, Me.

Hi Guys, thanks for the concern. No, there are no problems with money, health is holding up fine. I just reached a point where I was lugging around a lot of gear to take photos and not getting a lot in return, so I made the decision to get rid of the Fuji 6900z and the 300D and start afresh.

So, what did I get? Well, I bought a Kodak Easyshare 340 with dock printer for my wife to use, as she is always complaining that she likes looking at real photos, not those on a computer screen.

And, I bought a second hand Nikon Coolpix 8800. I am going to carry it around more and just enjoy taking photos once more. It's 8mp, takes my CF cards...so let's see what happens in the coming months.

Yep! I got caught up the chase for more and more gear, and kinda forgot what I enjoyed most, taking mainly average, but satisfying photos.
