Can anyone tell me if these are any good for the poor man macro or is it a waste 20$

I had a camera with a poor macro mode and I used the Hoya close up set to compensate. They worked really well for me. Basically they reduce the minimal focal distance.

I used them before and still have a set. They worked very well, and for that price what can you loose ? I paid $80 for mine and it was still a good deal

i have the 1,2,4 ones. the 10 one is interesting, and you can stack them too.
go for it.
