Got up this morning and made breakfast for my wife and I and what do you know, I cracked 2 double yoked eggs in to fry pan.
It's going to be a very good year

Man, you're using WAY too much heat on those puppies. Take your time and cook 'em more gently for superior results :-) Double double-yolks is quite a surprise, though...

I'll try that next time, as long as I can keep the yokes as runny as possible.

It's actually EASIER to keep the yolks soft with gentle heat. Of course, some people lIKE their eggs with crusty whites and soft yolks, in which case you're on the right track. Professionally speaking, the crusty edges are considered a defect, but...
