I am planning on buying up from the Rebel to the 20D but I keep hearing that an upgrade may be coming soon. Any definite word on what and when this may be. I can't seem to find anything about it.

rumors say it'll be announced Feb. It will probably be similar to the nikon D200.

Thank you for the response. I will keep looking. Just wish there was something definite so I would have a better idea on what to do.

I'd be quite surprised if Canon did not release the follow-on to the 20D this coming Spring. They are typically on an 18-month update cycle, and need an updated cam in that range to compete with the 200D. It would be worth waiting the six to eight weeks to see what they announce.
