If they added google earth pro to the site so users can click on the location of the photograph and it would show them a satellite picture of the area. Example below:

What do you think? |

I think Google Earth needs to finish their scan of the earth first.. you can only zoom in to small spots in each country, and some countries havn't been scanned yet.
so until that is finished I wouldn't add anything else to google earth :)

Well, Google is not really doing the scanning. They buy the data from the imaging companies that own the satellites. In many cases the older satellites have a very low resolution -- it is a camera after all. The US tends to have more and newer satellites over it and the US Government has the best satellites covering the rest of the world, but won't release the images for "National Security"... |

It's kind of an interesting idea, but not one that I would personally use a lot, I dont' think.
