Hi
I am helping my family in starting an online business to sell handicraft
I need a digital camera. My needs are limited. I need a digital camera that has allows me to attach my studio strobes. It is very important for me to be able to attach Studio strobes. They are simple strobes not fancy kinds.
I will take Prints Outs but not alot.
It wll be great if the camera has good white balance options.

Reason i have not mentioned any budget is because i really dont know i.e i dont want say less than 200$ or Less than 300$ as i have not bought a camera in long time and by stating a budget i may lose out on a good deal.
I did try searching through dpreview's search but it was useless as it was mainly showing camera that no longer available as new, something nikon 5400 etc

Maybe you need to provide a few more specifics. I just did a limited search for a camera < 300 US that allows the connection of an external flash and came up with 5 or six choices.

edit: current or upcoming cameras

You can specify whether to include discontinued models or not

Canon A610 was one of the cameras that came up.

do you mean that you need a pc synch port?

Thanks
most of models that come up in search are either Refurbished or used. Some have Proprietary flash i.e one can use flash of same company. While models like canon a 610 use on board camera flash to fire strobes ( which i am not interested in)

I dont mind camera has PC synch port or a hot shoe as long it fires my strobes and hot shoe is not Proprietary

If you need a pc synch cam, you can get an older DiMage7hi or something, and there's an adapter that you can buy that will enable you to do PCsynch.

Your strobes probably use PCsynch, but I have no Idea unless you post what they are, and know what you can do with them.

Ya my Strobes have PC Sync Chord but one can get adapter that can attach them to hot shoe also. Any ways i would buy a wein safe sync in order not to fry my digital camera

The main differences I see are the external flash (hot shoe vs. sync) and the Oly has manual focus. The Kodak has a wider apeture range, while the Oly can ony stop down to f/3.7. The Kodak has a better LCD, and uses SD cards while the Oly uses xD cards, wich I think are more expensive.

It's your choice, not sure what features are really a deal-breaker for you.
