Yesterday we had a very odd weather pattern. The cold air over rid the cold front and went aloft the warm air. Caused extreme thunder storms and several tornado warnings.

As this storm was passing I noticed a very rare Northern rainbow. Rare because it is very odd to have this type weather this late in the year. We have to go back to 1964 to see weather like this late in Dec.

Along with tornado warnings, softball size hail and this rainbow, it was an interesting day.

This is a four stitch photo taken very quickly so the exposure is off. Is there something I can do to better this photograph. Notice the rotation in the cloud near the ground on the the bottom about a third across. It blew down some trees, very minor damage.
