Get rid of the slight purple fringing on the lower part of the fenceline in this shot? Was taken facing into the early morning light....Iwanted to get the sparkle on the drop.

Basic editing...levels, curves, slight brightness

In general, magnify a portion of the image where fringing is evident. Open the Hue/Saturation dialogue box, select the blue channel, the eyedropper tool will become available, select from the purple fringing and adjust saturation until it disappears. There are more complex and subtle ways to do it, but try this first. Sometimes simply adjusting the saturation of the blue channel will do the trick. Sometimes you need to bump contrast and/or brightness a little after doing this. It's best to do it on a duplicate of the background layer; you can then overcook it slightly and fade the layer at different magnifications to get what you need.
