Hey guys,

I just got home from my holiday travels where, amoung other things, I got to see my sister. This shot is one I took of her over the break. I've posted it, but I feel that my processing wasn't to the full potential of the image. Is there anyone that could take a crack at it, and let me know any tricks you may use? Thanks!!

Too bad the background is messed with JPEG artifacts. Used PS CS2. Shadow/Highlight (about 50% both shadow and highlight), Curves (slight 'S'), Brightness/Contrast (increased both a little), Unsharp Mask (radius 40, amount 10), Unsharp Mask (radius 2, amount 20).

This one's just fixed - levels, brightness, sharpen and contrast.

From there, I added a sepia version:

And a virtual photographer 'dreamy' version.

That first edit's great Mav.....I did one similar, but not as nice.

Adjusted white balance, adjusted shadow/highlights, new layer via copy, soft focus/gaussian blur and erased back over hair, eyes & earring, flattened image, adjusted levels again.

HAH! Does everyone see that? "New layer via copy". And so I rest my case, Mr. BradP!

Sorry for the hijacking. It's a nice shot, Tryals :-)
