Over the past few years I have been absorbing everyones advice and opinions with regard to DSLRs and suitable lenses (my head feels like it has grown two hat sizes!). The forum fodder has been an invaluable resource in making my purchasing decision a comfortable one. For this, I thank all of you who directly and indirectly take the time to answer everyones questions and extend useful comments where needed.
I admire the patience and knowledge of the many members who repeatedly answer the recurring questions of all who inevitably seek to upgrade their equipment or photographic knowledge. What an asset!!
With that being said, I have finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Canon 20D (w/18-55) as well as the Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens. I had previously purchased (like... over a year ago!) the Canon 50 1.8 II figuring I would soon have my new camera. Well it's finally coming to fruition! I should have my new equipment within 10 days.
P.S. Thanks in advance for the questions I have yet to ask!

I did mine I updated a month b4 I got my s5600 and when i have orderd my cannon off the net I will do with that too:) (need cash first tho)
