I was wandering around downtown today looking for a sub 4000NT dollar (uhm around $130US) 2GB 150x SD card to use in a dedicated function as my Camera card.

I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this little gem.
2GB 170x SD card with a lifetime warranty for 3800NT. (around 114 dollars US)

The brandname is IPro or Pro (?). It is almost exclusively for the Japanese market. They also export to Mainland China and Taiwan. I am very up to speed on available technologies in the technology strip of Taipei and I have never seen this brand before. They exclusively manufacture (read add controller chips and repackage) SD, MMC and other similar small factor cards designed to operate at 84x and higher.

I was rather surprised when I found no website listed on the package, but I doubt I could read it anyways. The packaging is all in Japanese. Apparently it's a somewhat decent name brand in Japan.

I have tested it in my PDA and my S2 IS (it's pretty much faster than even that camera can use, so speed testing is sort of immaterial at this point) and it was fully compatible with no problems.

Speed is listed at 12.5MB/sec MAX.

Watch for it!
