This might sound like a really stupid question but I am having a problem and I have been looking all over for the answer but I can't find it anywhere. If this question has been asked already I am sorry for reposting it but I did look on the site before and I couldin't find it. My problem is that when I am in Adobe Bridge and I double click on an image to open it in Photoshop CS2 it always opens it with Microsoft Paint. I right clicked the picture and went to "open with" and it gives me the option to open it with either Microsoft Paint or Internet Explorer 6.0. neither of which I want to use. Is there somthing that I am doing wrong? Or is there a setting that I can change. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

In windows explorer, click on tools...then folder options...then file types. Then find the image type you are wanting, jpg, bmp, png, whatever, and select the program that opens it from the list. This is from memory, so there may be some minor variations along the way. But it should get you started down the right track at least...

Open (double-click on) your "My Computer" icon. Then select Tools>Folder Options. In that dialog, select the File Types tab. Scroll down to the file extension of the file type that's giving the problem. Click on it... you should see a box below with info on what it open s with. Click the Change button and select the right program. Repeat this process with any other file types that open with the wrong program.

Too slow!
