I logged on this morning and saw this notice:
Membership Expiration
Important Notice!
Your membership is set to expire in 21 days. You can renew your membership at any time by visiting the subscription page.
I am still debating on wether or not to renew my membership as just a registered user I may still be getting enough of DPC. My question to you is:
Should I renew?

The question to ask yourself is "Does the site deserve my support?" I make it my practice to become a paying member and an active volunteer at any site I visit regularly.

I'm with Bear - if you use it pay for it. We need to support the sites we frequenst.
So, are you intending to continuing to use DPC on a regular basis? |

I personally don't need the extra features that come with membership. I renewed to make my donation as I'm here every day.
It's only 7 cents 'a day.

| The site is worth $25 a year to me. If no one paid, it may go away. Then you'd miss Bear's advice, Slippy's humor, ... and you find out what happens when your mom sees your naked picture |

I support this site for those wondering I have bought like 10 gift memberships since becoming a member myself. I am just not sure I will need all what a membership provides.

You could just not renew until you see a member's challenge that you like.

Just think...the day after you become a registered member, a member only challenge will come up that will have the perfect topic for you...but forget it. You are only a registered member and can only participate in one of the exclusive OPEN challenges.
Options are always better...besides, if you get something, anything positive from the site, it would be worth it to support it.

| You're used to all the goodies that membership brings..... it would be hard to go backwards now! |

| I don't see any reason why you should not renew :) |

Where else could you possibly get all this knowledge, ribbing and challenging for $25 a year?
Better yet, make it a New Year's resolution to refocus on your photography. :)
Renew!

Although kicking the update button addiction may gain some freedom, I have heard that it is really really rough going through the withdrawals!
Plus, you might miss out on a cool members speed challenge. And the next free study. Maybe a best of '05. No members discussion threads...hmmm..... |

I just renewed mine. Thankfully PayPal is finally available in South Africa. It's the first time I've been able to pay without any complications.
