If I take photo in TIFF format there is not much EXIF data ,only pic size and camera model.
How we prove date and other things?

You should get full exif data in a tiff file. you're not resaving the file and losing the data are you?

What if you dont have the date set correctly in you camera. Like the blinking vcr you always hear about.

This was actually the case on my camera up until about a week ago - I had the date set one day off.

Everything is set right,(Olympus 5050 talking about)if I select SHQ Jpeg i have full data,in TIFF no exif data,I guess the camera is reprocessing internally!?

Gives about 14MB file and takes about 5-6 second to process!
