Hey guys...a lot of you commented on my other shot (thank you). Some of you felt that the pose seemed forced and the flash in the glasses was distracting.

So...I offer you this shot which is the second of the series I took...please let me know what you think.

Just me, the crop is a little tight (other one was too). It still looks like the lady's trying to strangle the dog. I love the shot though.

I changed your pic to a link. Feel free to repost a clickable thumbnail of the photo if you would like, but we try to keep the forum photos thumbnail size for those with slower connections.
I think it's a cute pic by the way. Maybe if her arm weren't around the dogs neck, but still cute.

I agree with the others - crop is a bit too tight. I would like to see more of the girls head. Also, she does seem to be choking the dog....reposition the arm next shot. One thing not noted by the others, but that bothers me is the position of the eye glasses - they look to be cutting her eyes in half, creating a distraction, at least to me, as I like to se the eyes clearly on people as they are the windows into the soul. jmho

I actually like the tight crop. bit I am expecting the dog to gasp at any second :)

The hair on the left of the frame looks wonderfully detailed, but the eyes look a little soft in comparison. I usually prefer to see the eyes as being the sharpest part of the shot. I like the contrast and the tight framing, although I have to agree that the arm around the dog's neck does indeed look like a restraining hold.

Thank you all for comments. Just to let all know...I didn't crop the picture (i rarely ever do unless necessary) - I always frame the picture the way I want it in the viewfinder.

Someone commented that the hair had great detail but the eyes were soft...I know, I believe Noise Ninja did that - does anyone know how to resharpen a picture after using noise ninja so that it retains its original sharpness? Everytime I try to resharpen after it just brings back the pixels that noise ninja got rid of.

You could overlay the 'noise reduced' image over the original and erase the section around the eyes, as long as the noise in the original is not too great. Perhaps on such a small area, any noise would not be very noticeable.

I like the first one better, but I swear that model looks so much like my little sister, it's a little creepy!
