Hello there,
I have just arrived at home. I want to say that I had a wonderful day watching you taking shots. It makes DPChallenge much more fun once you have seen some people behind their usernames!
Thanks again and probably see you next time!?

It was a good time, wandering the streets of Amsterdam. Lots of sights seen, lots of pictures made. For some reason though, most of mine seem to be DPC'ers drinking beer... I wonder what's up with that.
I'll try to get some shots up by the end of the week.
Thanks once again for hosting
a great GTG, Sander.

It was terrible! I wanted to show them all the highlights of Amsterdam, paintings, architecture and other cultural stuff. But all I heard was:
"It's so cold, I wanna go somewhere warm!"
"Time for some beer!"
"A pancake restaurant! (and the whole group ran inside)"
"Where are the blue skies you promised, let's get inside this pub and get a beer."
"I need some meat, big lumps of warm red meat!"
"Dinnertime! Do they have big lumps of red meat in there?"
"Where are the hookers, I want to see some hookers!" <- the women said that, really!
Azrifel pointing with his hands in different directions and asking the group for an opinion: "Culture or Hookers?"
Group: "Hookers!"
"I need to piss, hey there's a cafe. You order some beer and I'll be right back."
Barbarians! The horror, oh the horror. :)
No, it was great!
The quotes above are quite literal and true, but hey: That's Amsterdam! I enjoyed every minute of it (got the last train of 00.36). ;)
Thank you all for comming! Let's do it again someday.
Maybe some photos later tonight or tomorrow.

Someone found it on the ground and we started taking pictures of it. At the end, I snatched it. Now it will be my travel mascot, his name is Memnoch the Baby. rofl

I've got a coupla shots from the GTG (kinda) up on www.project6.org, and I'm gonna work on the bulk of the rest them some time tonight/tomorrow.
We had a great laugh yesterday, even though it was an insanely long daytrip :o) Kudos to Azrifel for organising it, and I'm sure we'd be up for coming to another one as and when it happens! Oh, and we definitely need to come back to Amsterdam when the weather is a little more photogenic ;o)
