I haven't taken any recently, but do have one (or partial one) of a delicious salad that I make quite frequently. Wish it had been recent, it would have been good for the Shallow DOF challenge. :-)

Fun thread! It is interesting to read and see what others do.

*Laughs* Just reread that part about "at least 1 cup of ketchup".

Sounds like my Mom, if she can taste the actual food, there is not enough ketchup. ;-) Okay, she used to be like that.. my uncle even bought her a case of ketchup one year for Christmas!

I don't have any photos but I wanted to share my new food-related love. Electric carving knives! Oh my lord, so.much.fun. I'd never cut any kind of roast or anything but then last weekend I had a party and served ham. Then tonight, we had roast beef. I carved both and it was great. The precision! Let me tell you, people, I should be a professional. If I ever lose my job, I'm going into professional meat carving. Watch for me at your local Old Country Buffet.

Also, please donate to my fund so that I can buy my own electric knife.

If you need a "fund" to get one you're even worse off than I am; many models can be had in the mid-20's. I imagine there are top-of-the-line models for more, though I've never looked. Personally, I don't use one; but then again, I'm a "pro" jejejeĆ¢„Ā¢

Or you can become a real fetishist and think $160 for a decent 8" knife is a good deal. This year Santa is bringing me a Kyocera creamic carving knife!

That's more my speed :-) I must have a couple thousand bucks worth of kitchen knives in my roll... I admit I'm obsessed with good cutlery.

Then I am guessing you were STOKED when you got the set that I mailed. You know you're gonna be the envy of your friends & neighbors! Keep 'em under lock & key - they are highly sought after.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

If it's any help, consumer advocate David Horowitz once tested those Ginsu knives on his show, and found that they really could do all those crazy stunts they demonstrated in the commercials.
