I am worried about what happens over the next week. Here in the Southern Hemisphere it is high summer and so we all have the week between xmas and new years off at the beaches.

Does this apply also in the Noprthern Hemisphere (without the sun and surf) and if so, will we be DQ'd if we don't get our emails in time to meet the 48hr deadline?

I think if you are going to be away, you can make arrangements to send your original file ahead of time. Just check with Site council.
Good luck.

Of course Marjo, I want to have to send my photo. It means that I am around the top 10. That'd be nice :)

Good thought about pre-sending it, thanks ... but I wonder if SC/Admins really want everyone who's going on holiday to pre-send their ex-camera entries at 20mb per file?

Bump: Anyone on SC to comment on whether there is a flexibility at this time of the year?

You could also send it to trusting friend (if you have any..lol) who you know won't look at it and if it's in the top 5 they could send it in with your info. Just a thought.

//www.dpchallenge.com/help_contact.php

This will send and e-mail to all the SC's, and one who is available to help will contact you.

I'm lost!! I don't see a challenge that says 48 Hours at Christmas Time. Though, I have the misfortune of having to work. Unless, you'd all like to see 48 Hours of Christmas in a Homeless Shelter, I won't be participating.

He's questioning about the challenges being voted on now. If he wins he won't be here to send in verification.

You live in a homeless shelter? That's really sad. At least you have an internet connection

I WORK in a homeless shelter. I don't live there! But, since it's a 24 hour a day/365 day a year operation, I'll be working same as always.
