OOopps! - "Photograph something gone wrong"
What does this mean - "gone wrong"?
Is this another one of those "anything goes" contests? Gone wrong photographically? Gone wrong in your life? Gone wrong how? OR does all apply?
If I post a photo that had bad lighting or contrast or is blurred, is that a gone wrong shot? Or are we talking about a soccer player holding a football, or a bad hair cut? LOL.....
If it is open to interpretation in any of those areas, then fine, I just want to know.

The first challenge should be a pretty good indicator of what will do well. |

This one has been done before Rose... check the challenge history for ideas of what they mean...
Still thinking about using your user name for that challenge |

Rose, most of the time we do not give very detailed descriptions for the simple reason that we want people to come up with their own interpretation of the challenge. After all, that's part of the challenge.
Some interpretations will be popular, and some will not. For example, you could take a blurry photo and enter it as your interpretation, however, most people probably will not like it, and it will score low. That's all part of the challenge.
Also, to help you out with future 'repeat' challenges, any challenge with a number (roman numeral) after it is a repeat challenge. This is Oops II (Oops2) We just had Shallow DOF II (Shallow DOF 2) We had Free Study IX, Single Light Source II etc. You can review the past ones in the Challenges/Challenge History section of DPC. |

That's just too cute! But, if she enters it, everyone will know who's it is. |

Oh, I thought I mentioned it on this thread, but it must have been another. What I had said in the other thread was I didn't notice it was a repeat challenge. I thought it was three exclamation points after the word "Oops". Had I noticed that, I wouldn't have even started this thread.
As for you saying a blurred photo might not do well, I now agree. However, I asked if it had to do with photography errors, as per this site is about photography, or other interpretations so I would not enter a blurred shot and have it not liked..LOL. Since the description was not all that specific, that is the reason I asked.
Thanks though!
Rose

Heather - Thanks for the explanation about the numbers after the title. I've seen them, but wasn't sure what they were about. :-) |

Don't expect one from me ... I'll be over in Patterns ... LOL, because it has become a "Pattern" for me to shoehorn a nude into a challenge ...
