Well...technically I thought I had a great photo. However, the lack of comments and the even more lackluster score tell me I don't. Not disappointed, but left scratching my head as to what will do good. A lot of shots, in my opinion, just didn't meet the technicals on this one although they were worthy shots. Not going to debate the technicals, just wondering what a lot of people were thinking.
5.6xxx after a very bumpy ride from 7.5 at the beginning to 4.8 in the middle and a slow climb back to where it is now. |

Might break the 6.4 before the day is done, the 14 comments and the FAV mean way more to me than the score though but I secretly hoping for a top 10 .... shhhhhhhhh

DPC had some trouble and the site went down for 5.5 hours....when it came back it seems it has not done a rollover. I'm sure D&L will fix it tomorrow

What is it with the photographers in this contest?

The photographers who submit dont even view the photographs from others!
Dont expect anyone to Vote without Viewing but I expect people to View pictures from others If they want others to View theirs!!!

Well looks like us 3 did better than predicted.

I am so surprised mine came in 23rd with all the great entries there were. I'll gladly take it though. |

Thanks Bren. I didn't expect to ribbon. This turned out to be really low scoring challenge. Good for me though :D |

Considering this was only my 2nd real effort
(the Christmas quickie I dont count, due to the effortless attempt) my 5.6 103rd is quite ok. Any comments on how I could have made it better are always appreciated |
