I am not complaining, 5.5+ is great, its above my average. It just that from the last challenge I was so used to seeing a 6.5+ on every update that this feels urrggh :P :D .. I am just kidding!!

One of my comments is that I dont have a shallow enough DoF, geeze there is about 1/4-5/16 of an inch of crisp focus and then immediately starts to fade out to blur. You have to wonder what people are thinking.

| The width of the DOF really isn't the issue. If there's enough context so whatever is in focus is minimal compared to the rest of the image or gives the impression of such then it's shallow DOF. Just one possibility for some voting low. |

I imagine many will think one must do a extreme close up, or macro in order to have a shallow DOF. Some great shots in this challenge by the way

That is utter crap dude.
Completely over analysing the whole thing, if someone used both, they still have shallow DOF, period. That's all the challenge called for so, IMO if they got good bokeh in also, then you should score HIGHER not lower because of it for an added element beyond what the challenge called for, but still in the guidelines.
