Here are a couple of my outtakes from the Candlelight Challenge. I also just found out I got POTD for 'A Wizards Realm'...yippee!!

How do you make these images thumbnailed as well as a click on? Thanks! I have an outtake I want to share as well, if I still have it. I think I do.

When you write your post on the top you have some icons. The one on the far right is what you want. Make sure you have already uploaded your image into your portfolio and then in another window open it up. In your browser addy copy the last 6 numbers and copy them into your forum thread, in the little window....and that is it. Use preview to check your result before you post.

Here is my out take. Not sure if I really liked it or not. I liked the sky, but the candle body seemed a bit dark. I did like the smoke trail though. It gave the "wind" effect. Hardly any wind in Florida though. LOL....

POTD stands for Picture Of The Day. I actually received it on another site....that is probably why you were confused....but you will find a lot of sites have the POTD option.

Just curious as to what others thought of these, my kids liked these better than the one I actually submitted

I really like the first two. The first one has the flame which would have enabled your image to have met the challenge whilst the second one has an eerie almost arty way about it.

I do like your choice but found it a bit cluttered. Sorry.

I would have voted your second picture higher than what you submitted. However, there were plenty of sticklers out there who would have slammed you for having the audacity to not show them that you were really using a candle...
