I came way too close to the brow ribbon on this one. This is what I submitted, the original unedited, and one of my better outtakes. i just need some advice for futrue shots, I dont really know where i took that major left turn.

I think the 3rd image is best and would have probably done much better. The blown-out exposure really hurt your image to the point of not being able to tell what it was and most people want to know or at least be able to figure out what the subject is. I would experiment with the exposure settings to really see what you can come up with.
The third image could probably have a faster exposure as well and use some curve adjustments to deepen blacks but that could be my crappy monitor also, otherwise I like that image much better. Probably would have gotten an 7-8 on my scale.
