Anybody know of an extension for FF that will show all the EXIF details of a photo - preferably via right click?
I have one for IE but I rarely use that POS and could not find anything searching through the extensions. |

Thanks - catch is it does not support FF 1.5 yet :-( I will check back later with these guys unless somebody else knows of one that works with the latest FF. |

My Bad - I must have downloaded version 2.2 previously and I just installed it instead of the new version. The 2.25 version works fine with FF 1.5.
Thanks for the link - Much nicer. |

I think it's for WIndows only. |

I would also like to know of a Linux version (I'm sure there must be one)
I tried to install This one on Fedora C4, it installed ok, and it half worked once(got the EXIF: header but no data) and after that never saw it again. |

Thanks a bunch, man, it works for me (Linux FC4, FF 1.5). Two things I've noticed,
You get nothing if there is no exif data on the pic. That's ok for sure but you don't know if there is none or the extension plainly isn't working. A message "no exif data" would be nice.
You have to wait until the image fully loads. All right, too, but if you're looking at big pics and don't notice it did'n finished loading way down the (yet unseen) screeen, you may be fooled into "no exif data" mode.
Otherwise, it's great. Let's hope some more data is shown in future versions.
Give it a second try anyway, Matt

Just curious, what advantage does being able to read EXIF data on an image you see in your browser give you? Most images seen on the web have been processed which strips the EXIF data.
OPanda EXIF...since I have not installed this, I cannot say for sure. But a friend told me not to install it as they put tracker stuff on your system. Is this true? Has anyone checked? Or has it just not been noticed?
