Had hoped to do better with this once seeing as it took a lot of setup...
I had thought about this one. It's a total candid of my daughter sleeping in her "big girl" bed for the first time. I placed a tealight on her pillow and shot away. I didn't enter it because I had thought it would get lost in the shuffle...
Would it have beat 25th? |

| I loved your original picture, it has a mysical quality about it that I havent been able to create. The picture of your daughter is great but Im not sure if it would have been better than 25th. You may have gotten the I cant see a candle so DNMC. I personally think its a qonderful picture, gentle and sweet. |

I like the one of your daughter better. I think it meets the challenge more so than the candles in the bags. It might of helped a little to show the candle but I think most people would've assumed the picture was illuminated by a candle. I would've gave it a 6 probably.
I didn't vote in this challenge because I couldn't find myself being fair-minded enough to vote on a picture of a burning candle when the challenge stated "use candlelight to create the impact...." Quite frankly a picture of a burning candle has no impact on anything IMO. Unless it's illuminating something, it's just a burning candle.

| left comment on 1st. 2nd is good too, but I think lots of voters wanted to see a lit candle in the pic. 2nd certainly would have benefited from the "cute" factor. Mine didn't have one and I believe it suffered. |

| Yes i agree dsmeth.....when i saw this challange fist thing i thought of was the 5th place winner picture of the bath and candles and rose petals and then another good one is 8th place as well like the hands around the light sorce.....but i did vote high on the 3rd place winner it looks good =) |
