WOW, time is flying! I didn't realize tonight was a roll over night. (I also didn't realize Christmas Eve was in 6 days, but that is just my own mindless calendar :)
I spent so much time on my DOF entry I didn't even pay attention to the dates. Well, this is great! Unfortunately, I have been getting up at 6am this week due to sitting my grandson who puts ME to bed much earlier these days..LOL..so not sure I can stay up for it. Hope so though!

LOL...I hear ya! I took about 300 shots in the past two days just trying to get my DOF entry. I finally got to go today to the subject I wanted in my photo, and made sure I took at least 40 shots of it so I had enough to work with. Thankfully, I did. So finally I am all set, although it was a VERY tough choice. It was also one that taught me quite a bit, so I am very pleased with both the challenge and the experience.

That is really the best part for me. Seeing what's on tap. I like to sleep on it. My best ideas come to me that way. LOL...

I might be around. Just finished doing the last minute shopping, putting up the Christmas tree, wrapping all the gifts and now at 11:26 pm I get to sit and relax for a bit.
I haven't had time to take my camera out except for a quick shot of a red tailed hawk in the back yard yesterday morning. No challenges for me but hopefully one next week during vacation (if I get one). After that I will be totally buried in my IT work with 4 new servers to put in place, a whole office changeover and system training, so the camera is probably going to gather dust for awhile :( I wish you all the best in the rollover!!! |
