I took this for another competition and am curious what people think about this. Thanks.

Tastefully done. I think it works well. Maybe clone out the mole or the tattoo or whatever it is on the edge of her stomach near her leg. I like the lighting you've achieved here. Well done. |

Thanks, I chose to leave the mole because I think it adds a little texture and interest. Thanks for the comments though. |

It' looks like too much neat image was applied. Seems like a lot of loss of texture, and skin makes for such beautifully interesting textgure.
Some aspects seem disconnected by pose. The arm for example....
It doesn't quite hit me right.

Does kinda look amputee. Not that I knock it. |

You asked for opinions and so here is my opinion. First, let me say that it is a wonderful photo. With that being said, I feel you are taking the easy route. The blurring and the lack of light are attempting to make me believe this is a great shot by leaving it ALL up to my imagination. I liken this to when I began painting. I was so affraid to put real amounts of paint on the paper. It took forever, but once I had the confidence in myself to put down lots of paint, then my paintings gained a whole new level of texture and richness. So, with that, show us her skin - show us her face - let us feel the photo! |

Actually no neat image, blurred because I was losing detail from low light and wanted to get rid of lines from color info...it was just low light (the assignment was beauty in darkness so that's where the idea was coming from). Thank you all for the comments...the amputation of the arm was a mistake that I corrected with later shots but never got this pose the same (it was a lighting issue) and I felt the pose was very nice. Next one I post, I'll make sure to incorporate your comments. Thanks for looking guys. |

Thank you...I thought I was going crazy not seeing a leg with a mole on it. |
